December 8th.

A family’s (Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke) vacation is upended when two strangers (Mahershala Ali and Myha’la) arrive at night, seeking refuge from a cyberattack that grows more terrifying by the minute, forcing everyone to come to terms with their places in a collapsing world.

Hmmmm.

Watched it just now. It built some great suspense and intrigue, but it all amounted to nothing in the final 30 mins or so. Shame as I enjoyed the 1st half of the film a lot.

7/10 - usual Netflix fare, loads of advertising, big actors (big $$$) and the output is a film you will probably never watch again, let alone remember existed in 12 months Could have told the same story without the 4 "big" name actors as well.

It was okay - they built the tension and eerieness very well but it left way too much unexplained and the ending felt like it should have said "End of Part One".

Also it got annoying the way all the main characters were so aggressive to each other.

What was all that with the deer and the kid getting ill etc ???

6/10

Watched tonight, 5/10. So much promise but like many half arsed Netflix TV shows/films, you always end up being disappointed with poorly told stories and unfinished endings with the middle filled with a bunch of pointless fluff.

I really liked it, until it the last quarter or so where it seemingly just sped to a really **** and abrupt end. Quite annoying really!
