How long will my BT email and yahoo addresses remain active after I dump them?

About 30 days......

I kept mine by paying £2 a month to BT Yahoo, I had too many things registered to my BT email address to change them.

Been over 3 months and both Main/Sub accounts are still active. I'm not paying to keep them active either.

Thanks, It's not as big an issue as I thought it was as I'll only need to advise one customer to the change of email.

I've been left BT for 18 months & I stillhave my btyahoo/btinternet email address & ist *** premium one & I pay nothing so dont worry about it, also I have sub accounts created from another bt openworld account that have been active for 7 years despite the connection being cancelled

Mine was stopped via smtp after 30 days...? I guess your accounts are just webmail?

yeah, never thought of that... anyway it answered the op for the account question, never much cared for outlook with bt as it never worked 100%
