Basically I'm half way though a 24 month contract with O2 and have found their 3G network beyond useless where I live, despite the fact their online coverage checker shows good signal it's really not.

The problem is that my phone says it has 3g coverage H+ but will not load web pages and send or receive emails etc. I know its not the phone as it's completely random as to when it wants to work and my iPhone before had the same issue. I have a 3gb tariff and I'm lucky if I can use half of it it's that bad.

Anyone managed to leave a contract early?

Cheers.

You can but you probably have to pay to get out early.

if you had decided withing the cooling of period you get when you take a contract out it wouldn't cost you, but 12 months later will be a tough one to get out free.

It might be worth checking out this http://www.o2.co.uk/apps/tu-go uses wifi for call's and text's
