Leaving oculus home.

you can just walk out on air if you physically step through the virtual walls. you can see the environment from a difference perspective to usual, maybe some things previously unseen but I haven't spotted any easter eggs. I haven't tried this with all the environments though.

I managed to get halfway to the mountains in the default home room. Which isn't too bad an effort as it did it with a CV1. So I had to keep tuning round when I ran out of cable and rotate the view 180 degrees so I could walk back to the other side of the room. I wanted to get closer to the clusters of blue lights.
 
I wonder if the VR desktop software for the quest is compatible with the older oculus software and oculus home 1.0.
I always wanted to have a mooch round the pool table in the open plan building at the back, but I only ever managed to get just past the koi pool before the cv1 cable length stopped me.
