Lebara vs Smarty - anything to choose between them?

I'm looking for a cheap SIM for my eldest's first phone and the best rolling monthly deals seem to be with Lebara and Smarty - I know Lebara run on Vodafone's network and Smarty is Three but around where I am both are pretty decent speed and coverage-wise! (I'm on Three myself and have never had any issues!)

Any experience of either as being better than the other??
 
Lebara with using Vodafones network will have the best coverage but if your happy with how three are performing in your area surely just comes down to price?

Most the recent deals are monthly rlling deals so can easily swap if needs be?
 
ive just had to move away from Smarty due to the poor signal. im going to give the Vodaphone network a try.

Same here, used them last month for 3 weeks as my contract had ended but was abysmal service, to the point of losing full phone signal at times.

Moved onto VOXI and it's rock solid (Vodafone backbone though) - same price 30GB/£10 but unlimited social media usage.

I was on Vodafone's VOXI, and my signal is much better on Smarty (3).
It all depends on where you live I guess.
 
Been with Lebara for probably 1 year cant really fault it , currently paying 1p per month for 6 months than goes £5.99 can cancel anytime for 12gb , unlimited mins/texts has wifi calling I get around 150-200mb+ on 5G of course depends on the area
 
Switched from Voxi to Lebara as former dropped their roaming and have to say connection seems fair bit slower despite them both being on Vodafone.

Also ended up with split port after keeping my number and couldn't receive phone calls, took them 7 working days to fix.
 
Currently with three and happy with coverage, looking at going to Smarty when able. Do they do voice over WiFi as I would miss that.

I used to be with O2 and roaming was dreadful only 3G my wife was on Lebara and had 4G now I am with Vodafone i m happy with network and they give me a free international roaming but some places have a bad reception every single network in UK have one of this places
 
Yeah your mileage may vary on your location, I know Vodafone has bad rep but difference between them and Three has been night and day for me.
