LED change, do or don't?

I cannot decide,
My case is currently all blue LED's and SMD,s,

I fancy a change as I'm getting bored of the case and bored of blue in general.
I customise the interior and exterior lighting of cars for a living so LEDs and the gear to do it aren't a problem,

I'm thinking of going all red or maybe a cool white.

I've never really been a fan of mix matching different colours however I'm open to suggestions

I'll leave the decision to the trusted guidance of OCUK :D

Look around for some phobya ether led strips, you'll never have to change strips for a different colour again :p
 
Are they the strips with remote control colour change?
I've got something very similar to the in my work room but there abit bulky for my liking lol

I also have a sound to light reactor board I built last year,
Might do some sort of VU meter on the front of the case :D
 
What about RGB LEDs? You can go practically any colour you want then. All the fans are easy to change the LEDs on and you could grab a 44 key RGB controller to control them all.

Just modded my G11 keyboard with RGB LEDs. Some days I have Orange, other days Green, I can even go Pink if the mood takes me.
 
i just got a load of leds but im a bit dissapointed in them so will probably scrap the idea of placing leds in my case. thing is they dont cover much of a angle and they have like a circle pattern in the light thats shining on whatever its shining on, the real put off were the uv leds i got, not bright a all and had that nasty ring effect. tho its probably my fault because i guess i got the wrong leds. the brightness of them is 5000mcd+
 
Somebody mentioned red and black, I think those colours combined would look good. But again, you mentioned ice white which may provide a less 'ricer' feel to your rig.
 
The NZXT are meant to be good. They plug into PCI Slot, I think theres like 3 settings and they're light I will tell you that.

I think I will go black and orange as some of the rigs I've seen with that colour combination are phenomenal,
So will be ordering some black and orange wire braid and some black and orange fans, probably without leds as i've gone right off led fans ATM,

I was considering going black and yellow as those viper fans are awesome :D
but black and orange it is.

5000MCD isnt really bright at all to be honest mate,
The lowest luminance I stock are 500k (500,000) MCD
Plus I hate LEDs with a passion, I only ever use them if I really have to, the light cast on them was never good, even the wide angle ones fail,

SMD's are all I currently use, there in a different league compared to LEDs
a lot better light cast and no high/bright spot as theres no focal lens on them

lol im fussy as hell when it comes to lighting, I got a new case few weeks ago and rigged it with white led fans... now I cant stand the white and want something else lol maybe its just me but when you have lights and shiny attractive bits they get boring after a while.

I think i might resort in just keeping it stealth :cool:
