Anyone have a clue what the output voltage off each pin in a lcd cable are?

Just change a dc jack on a samsung r510 and the back light on the lcd isnt coming on now?

Not sure if it was working before but assume so. so annoyed!

Thanks will check all voltages tomorrow, all I did was solder in a new jack plug, damn things.

yea i think its an inverter, just took screen out and its not LED its the old style cathod thing.

tested the cable voltages.

the inverter connector has 2 19v lines (constant) 1 3v (when on, 0v when laptop off) 1 0v (prob neg) and then 2 black 0v lines also prob negs.

and the inverter is giving out 0v's.

it did have a fuse on it which is ok but im pretty sure its dead.

when i keep the power lead in but turn the laptop off all vlotages stay the same apart from the 3v which goes to 0v which i assume is a switch live.
