LED lit up all the time

Hi I have 2 packs off these Avexir MPower Yellow Series 32GB

All the chips LED's switch on and off creating a wave affect, Apart from one chip ie 8gb one that is on all the time, now what I would like to know is that one chip with the LED's being on all the time would create a problem with the memory chip it self.

i thought the idea of the leds was the menmoy being used lights up "on effect"

the wave just happens because its accessing various parts in sequence?

am i wrong???

if im not you have nothing to worry about

if i am wrong, you probably dont have nothing to worry about either led wouldnt harm memory

Hi smog the leds light up effect start upon pc booting up till shutting down, and also the waving is also always happening on every chip bar one that stays on that is, so I am assuming its an effect for people who stare into there side off the case when there bored to look at the lights.

The lights are just there for pimp factor. It's why you bought them isn't it?

Dunno why one of them is sticking, but it shouldn't have any effect on performance.

Yeah, I've got a couple of the blue sets myself. First set bought a few months ago for £31.99 then the price went up to silly levels. The second set bought last week for £37.99 before they went back up to £59.99.
Lovely ram, but not £60 a set of 8gb worth.

I did buy them for the pimp factor though

Maybe get onto OcUK for an RMA? Try a different stick in that slot to double check it's a problem with the individual stick first.

yep have switched them around, and that one does like to stay one constally though,
to be honest If I ever get around to take the none see through panel :-)

off and its still on then all well, If there is no light on that chip and memory is working 100% then I am still smiling, lol

It's a warning sign so I'd return them before something serious goes down
