led or lcd

im looking for a led monitor i was told they better picture than a lcd i have a
19" BlueH H94W Widescreen LCD Monitor i was looking at the OcUK E2250SWDA 22" Widescreen LED Monitor which one is better thanks for your help

Both Monitors are TN LCD Monitors by the looks of it. the LED refers to the way the panel is lit up from the backlight.

LED backlights are thinner, and are more power efficient. (Not necessarily any better in picture quality). the OCUK panel should be better, but also concider IPS panels if colour accuracy is important to you.
