I have a friend that is considering buying a leeds ticket on the bay...

Has anyone had experience of this.. he is slightly worried incase he gets a fakey or nothing at all...?

id wait till nearer the date

if he/she buys it now and its with paypal then its possible they wont let them claim if its months after when they try and claim

thats what i plan on doing anyway

You can still buy them off seetickets.com

I personally wouldn't trust eBay, due to scammers and fear of tickets becoming invalid

Wont they get really expensive leaving it nearer the time?
nope if you leave it really late a lot of people try flogging them at face value just to make their cash back

Bingo, got my reading ticket for about £140 if I recall.

Bought my 2004 Leeds Festival ticket from the normal ticking selling place, but the two concecutive years after that I couldn't get them so easily and ended up buying one each year from the bay. Got them very quickly both times and worked out great for me, but if you are planning on getting some I'd wait closer to the time because you tend to find that people lower the prices a lot and you also get the people that wanted to go but couldn't selling their tickets for what they paid for, rather than the normal ticket price + 200% :P
