At this rate looks like they will be replacing N.Forest as the Big Club in Lg1.

WTF has happened to Leeds?

From play off losers to this...

I'm not worried.

Once we get the decent manager in, the only way is up.

Shame about the defence at the moment but that has always been a problem. Kilgallon is our only decent player at the back, Butler is too old and slow, Kelly the same and Crainey should go back to Scottish football. I'm sure this will be the first thing sorted when the manager gets sorted which will be quickly I'd imagine now.

I don't see Leeds being relegated but I think it's highly unlikely they will be contenders for promotion this season. With the debt ending this season too, it could be a positive summer and proper push for promotion next season.

I like Leeds and its a shame to see such a giant fall, they desperatly need to sort out the management/coaching situation and fast then I think things may turn around, especially with a few shroud signings in January, I very much doubt they will face relegation.

As long as they take one of the relegation spots I don't care! :p

On a serious note, I'd like all the Yorkshire clubs to stop up. Simply for the derby games.

Those saying you cant see us being relegated - are you actually going to the games? The players are an absolute disgrace! There are so many comparisons with 3 years ago when we were relegated from the Premiership. We played a lot of rubbish last year but somehow got to the playoffs. This year those same players just dont seem to care. Its a mix of talent who know they are going to be sold anyway, and has-beens that know they would be sold if we did get promoted. Theres no ambition and no drive,

With Killgallon and Healy being sold at xmas this is going to be a very hard season. Sure a new manager *might* turn it around, but who the hell would want the job? Carver was going to be given until xmas, but I cant see that happenning now which makes the prospect of a panic buy look likely.

I honestly think it very likely we will be going down this season.

Mido!!!!

Spurs 1 - West Ham 0 H/T

Leeds really do need to act fast. They are relatively debt free but if they do go down then you can only see that situation changing for the worst with the relative overheads of a Premiership stadium in the Football League Div 1.

It would be good to have them back in the prem along with teams like Forrest as well.

They won't go down. I'm not worried about relegation. Southend, Barnsley, Hull, Wednesday... all far worse than us even on their good days. We've been absolutely shocking most of the season except against WBA. The Palace result was harsh, the Leicester game was harsh. And yet with anything from games we deserved points from we'd be mid-table.

Even if it is Wise that comes in I can't see us finishing below 10th.

Of course, thats still pretty disastrous for us but a long way from relegation.

I remember posting about what trouble leeds were in years ago, i think it was around mabye 2001 mabye 2002 before the world cup and before O'leary was sacked.

Gilly said "we wont go down, and we wont go bust". ;)

Gilly Says leeds wont go down this season, I'd lump on leeds for relegation fellas he's 100% so far.

We've agreed the compensation, now just personal terms to sort out so it shouldn't be too long till Wise is the manager now.

I can't count on both hands how many times we were lied to regarding finances and such. Unless you think there's risk of us going bust between now and March there isn't a chance we'll go down :)

Do you have £50k spare to bet? Thats what I'd put up against anyone that thought they are going to get relegated :)

I'm quite excited about the arrival of Wise, but also a bit aprehensive. He wouldn't be my number one, but hey, he will be a refreshing change to the team and hopefully ruff the team up a bit. Get them playing how they should.

Not got £50k but I can't see them finishing above 10th :)

It's a shame that they can only attract a person like Dennis Wise to be manager.

I don't think they will get relegated, but i'm sure other 'big' clubs like Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday were saying that in similar circumstances, so it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

There were plenty of managers interested but there isn't many that are what Leeds needs, you think Souness/Hoddle could go there and change things? We needed someone that would ruffle some feathers, wouldn't take any **** and get results.

Under the circumstances I'm going to back the board for the appointment.

Championship wise, everyone knows we have a strong squad, we only lost Hulse in the summer and the arrival of Nicholls made up for that strenght wise. We just need a manager to get us going.
