Has anyone tried running L4D2 in Boot Camp? I was thinking about taking a punt on the original then I noticed that 2 was out. My Macbook runs Bioshock at medium settings, not the highest of frame rates but it's perfectly playable, but I'm not sure if it'll be able to handle L4D2. (Core2Duo 2ghz, 4gb DDR3, Nvidia9400M, XP 32-bit sp3)

I would think so. It runs on the Source engine which is very scalable from my experience. Less demanding than Bioshock at least.

Not that I can see. I've just come across a Valve boxset on Steam: 3 versions of Counter Strike, Half Life, Half Life 2 and 4 expansions/addons, L4D 1 + 2, and a few other games all for £40. I'll give it a go. (I wish I'd seen this before I spent £12 downloading The Orange Box last night
)

I downloaded a demo of L4D2 a while back, through Steam, before the full game was released so it may be worth searching there.
To echo the above sentiments I find that the times I've played games that use the Source engine on my MacBook seem to run quite smoothly, albeit sacrificing some of the eye candy for extra FPS.
