Does L4D2 still have an active player base online?

I'm asking because I'm thinking of getting it, but I only want to purchase it if it's easy to get a game online.

I don't have any friends that play it, so I will have to rely on random matchmaking.

Seems to be plenty of people playing online, I don't think you'll have any trouble getting a game.

It was only released mid November last year so yeah loads of people playing it.

Just to confirm......you will NOT have an issue getting a game online.

It's good stuff, very fun! Not serious at all, just fun!

Still, I dunno how much longer I will play it, probably till AVP comes out. I think that will have most of my attention for a "casual" game. Then BFBC2 comes out and that will take up the time I feel like being a bit more serious.
