LEFT 4 DEAD KEY CODE PROBLEM

Ive just bought a new hdd and started to load up games again. but this game says the prodution codes already been activated by an existing stream account and there for invalied. i bought this game new and i thought i typed in my stream account detailes right. is they away of sorting this out.

If you've added it to Steam already then all you need to do is log into the Steam account you added it to and it'll be there.

I've you've already linked it to your account, you wont need to do it again.

Check your list of uninstalled games in steam and you'll find it there.

where do i look for that. its been that long i dont remember my email address i used...

Go to the games tab on the steam client, there will be a list of games that you own and can install.

Edit - just noticed you can't remember the email you used. Err, try just doing the usual forgotten username/password with every email you've used in the past? Shouldn't be too hard unless you've had loads of throw away ones and linked it with one of them.

Is there a phone number i can use to speak to someone at steam. ive got into my account but the games not in there. so ive no idea what email address i used.

I did this exact thing but with another game. Forgot my old account email. I just used the steam forum, but it took a long time. When i finally got help i got all my games from 1 account onto my current one

I don't think there is a phone number but if you go here there's a facility to reclaim your login details. Just enter all your e-mails until you come across the one registered to your account and hopefully that will sort you out

Failing that you will need to create a Steam Support account and explain to Steam your situation. It may help your cause if you have a picture of the L4D Box with the key associated to the account.
