I got this today on recommendations in here...

Wow - that's entertainment :D Great fun! It's not as scary as I thought it'd be though - more like knee jerk "Whoa - shot the ******!"

I'm shocked that my X1950 Pro runs it so well too :D

Don't know about the OP, but I tend to phase out those ***OFFICIAL*** threads like background noise, most of the time.

agreed too much bloat most of the time, and more often new threads are easier to read than 50 pages of junk where the original had been derailed.

The official threads are designed for posts like these though.

Not that I care, game is good.

Runs and looks great on my friends 6800GS as well, love Source.

Same here, I'm currently downloading it now and don't normally go for games like this. The reviews sold it to me.

What sort of fps are people getting on this?

Would be cool if we could get an OcUK demo recorded so that everyone can run timed demos (benchmarks) of this at a specific setting (1680x1050/max detail/4xaa for example); a bit like the Crysis and Far Cry benchmark threads.

My system is hardly cutting edge but I am really impressed by the smooth running of the game. Damn, the rooftop is hard though :(

As per previous comments: **********Official********* threads just turn into random derailment so I tend to ignore them :)

As someone who has been away from PC gaming for about a year, this seems like a good, mindless shooter and is fine entertainment. I did get a bit confused at the start - I thought you'd be able to bully the others into going up front but the AI doesn't respond too well to commands. I think 4 decent human players could make this a brilliant experience.

I've no qualms with you posting this thread rather than using the official but I will point out that some of the recent posts in it have some useful info /re servers and such, not to mention info about the OCUK Left4Dead steam group.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll check it out - I'd definitely be up for human comrades rather than the dozy AI :D

There is no such thing as single player, honestly! It's only a map learning excercise!

The WORST you should be playing is 4man Online coop. (Expert only ofc)

The BEST thing you can do is play a VS game with friends/OcUK'ers. It's a great laugh!

To add to what Aekeron said, do checkout the LFD official thread because it often has useful info such as the OcUK LFD Group and about any games that may be taking place on specially hosted for OcUK members, servers :D

im getting over 70 most of the time :) some times it goes up to 150fps :D

Playing at 1920 x 1080 all settings on high I get 60fps 99% of the time. Lowest it drops is 30fps and that is because I have v-sync on.
