Left for Dead - Delayed till summer.. *sobs*

Yeah I was really looking forward to it too - but I always suspected it'd be 'delayed' and take a while to get released.
 
Valves delayed summer that means we will not see it until Autum/Winter maybe March 09 ! I wish these companies would not take on projects which they are not skilled enough to complete on time !

Yeah i agree. That's why i like EA. Because no matter how difficult the project, EA will always publish it on time. And not only that, but the games they publish on time are always complete, always 100% working with no bugs, never need patching, and always end up in a completely absorbing, wonderful gaming experience.

Afterall, we are the ones who decided what "on time" means... right? They are tied to their deadline and shouldn't ever be allowed to overstep it. Companies like Valve and Bioware and THQ spend far too much time trying to make good games that they forget that we're all here tapping our feet and waiting. Who do they think they are? If they spent less time making games work and more time making patches, we could all be playing them sooner.

Every company delays releases sometimes, not just Valve, and it's usually becuase they want to add extra features/polish the game more etc. Would you prefer if they released a un-finished game or delayed a few months?

It's not that they aren't skilled enough. Every game released by valve has been top notch, likewise with any company who spends a long time developing games.

You can tell when a game is produced by 'unskilled' people when it comes out on time and plays horrible.
 
Been "delayed" a few times now (don't know if there was ever an official penned release though), they did say it'll be released "when it's done" if I remember correctly.

was kinda ready for this, what with valve aqquiring turtle rock.
 
Shame was really looking forward to this; but hey when it gets here its going to be awesome. And on a side note I never knew that the Zombie bosses would have "powers"... sounds cool :D
 
Wonder why they've stuck it back. Maybe could do with a graphics / source engine upgrade since they were building it on the source engine which i think is getting kinda dated.

No complaints @ TF2 Mind
