OK, I need to order a new wing for my car, a front driver's side wing for an E36 Saloon...

GSF sell them at a fairly reasonable rate (£25+vat) but they are listed as LEFT and RIGHT, which could well mean anything.

They are now closed, so I can't ring them but I do want to place this order. Does anyone know which side is the correct side with regard to GSF's ridiculous naming schemes?

I would guess it's from the driver's POV, so right would be driver's side.

Just a guess though :o

Well if they are closed anyway, wouldn,t you be better off waiting until they reopen Monday morning? Its not like the bits will get sent out any quicker if you order today.

True enough I suppose, just wanted to get it out the way.

I work in parts, generally left means nearside/passenger side and right means offside/drivers side. We usually tell customers as you said, its left/right from the drivers POV.
Its a right pain with engine mounts because you obviously look at the engine bay front on and some catalogues do list that way on whilst others dont.
