What do you guys do with your old bits when you upgrade?

At the moment I've got the following bits lying around:

C2D E8400 (will o/c to 3.6Ghz)
Biostar T-power i45
4BG Corsair XMS memory (4x1GB)
GTX 260 896MB
8800GTS 320MB
80GB HD
40GB HD

I had a little look on eBay and the parts really aren't worth much at all. Probably around £100 for all of it. However they're not exactly slow, or all that past it I guess.

They might made a fairly decent HTPC, which could do some folding as well perhaps?

Can I run both the nvidia cards in the motherboard (which is crossfire) and have them both folding still?

i stick my stuff on memebrs market on this forum

you could use it for folding and it doesnt matter if its an sli or cf mobo for folding iirc

I keep all my parts in case anything goes wrong with my main PC and I've got a temporary fix for it or I just need to do some troubleshooting.

You won't be able to run both GPU's in the motherboard at the same because they are not the same cards so will not run in SLI.

I don't have enough posts to use the market unfortunately. Bit annoyed that when I moved I had to throw a lot of stuff away, so don't have any boxes or manuals for any of the stuff.

he doesnt want to run them in sli, he wants to fold with them so no sli bridge is needed and when folding the cards dont run in sli anyway
however im unsure weather different cards can work for folding on the same board

Only one way to find out I guess :D

It won't take you long to rack up the posts if you have the time to go through the forum. Just don't spam. I did it in a couple of weeks.
