What's wrong with people? If leaving an MMO feels like this much of an achievement then you have bigger issues than quitting a game will solve.

Good for you. Your choice of words suggests you over indulged, but smoking kills you. Smoking a little still hurts you a lot but most other stuff in life will do no harm in moderation.

It's sometimes tricky though, a raid takes hours and there can be pressure to show up. Especially for healers / tanks / top dps.

I am sure you will stop missing it in a few days. I did. Every now and then i wish i could do an instance with my mates though. Or heal in a raid again. Those times I install some free-to-play MMO and am quickly reminded why I stopped WoW. xD

Oh come on, Cataclysm is ****.

You can even explain every boss encounter in one sentance. DPS boss, spread out, heal, group up, ground AOE heals, rinse and repeat. I think the next tier of content will have to be exceptional to keep a lot of people, a lot of people seem to be quitting around now.

The leaving WoW threads always make me smile, it's like there is a genuine need for a round of applause from others. :) I don't mean to sound rude but it does seem to be the one game where I imagine people obtain help for addiction. I guess I got away lightly by only trying the trial for around two hours and deciding it wasn't for me. ;)

Been there done that!

It does indeed feel somewhat of an achivement even if other people don't think so. The game is certainly addictive and it can rob you of a lot of time. I'm really glad I finished playing.

Haven't even tried Cataclysm, WoW and other MMO's don't interest me anymore.

Xbox 360 is enough for my gaming fix. :(
