Left4Dead - low mavity problem

Hi

Just got this game from steam. Played the first campaign with some random players online and enjoyed it. We then moved on to the second one, I can't remember what it is called. Anyhow, when we started the mavity was really low so our jumps were pretty mighty. How has this happened? Is somebody ****balling about with it?

Right, so you have say over what server you get allocated? Okay, that makes sense! Sort of...

It was watching those fat dudes explode while airborne that got me going. You could also 'float' above the zombies and gun them down quite easily.
