Hi

Silly question most likely but can I change from one to the other with out reinstalling windows or loosing any data on that drive? I have seen done via CMD and just tried that but it failed.

Used this command mbr2gpt /convert /allowfullOS

Thanks

Not sure if Booting to safemode trick works for Leg to Uefi ...

Set bios to UEFI save, and make sure you boot into windows safe mode, then restart and enter normal mode .

Looks like most likely wouldn't work , so bit of tinkering

Tried again in normal windows mode just open CMD via windows key +x and that full command worked, strange as before I opened cmd in admin mode but didn't like it, oh well at least it worked. On another note learned something new didn't even know about this shortcut.

Thanks
