If you was assaulted on a bus by 4 people yet you only have a bit bruising /cuts would it not be worth going to the police/taking them to court.

I would report it, scum shouldn't be able to get away with stuff like that, they probably still will if you report it, but they certainly will if you don't.

It may even stop someone else being on the end of a beating or worse if they are caught.

Bear in mind that most buses these days have TV cameras fitted, but you need to report soon or any tape will be copied over.
