legality question

Im selling my Spare rig, it currently has a copy of Vista Business X86 edition on which i got through my MSDNAA. I wanted to know the legality of leaving this on when selling it. Obviously i would make it clear i would not be charging for the vista installation. But just thought it would be a good selling point when i go to sell it on.

Slam 62 is correct. As a MSDN:AA user, you yourself are licenced and not the machine. As soon as you sell them machine the Vista installation becomes unlicensed.

You'll need to remove it before selling.

You could demo with it on but you'd need to remove that too before selling it.

buy xp oem or vista oem, install it, job done (and add extra charge for it)

their cheap as oem, like ocuk
