How do you play this game? I see 4 characters but only one view point? Is this the same as Grimrock 1 ie will it be forward backwards left right and turn?

G1 looked pretty boring.

It's exactly like the previous game, with improvements, additions etc.

I still haven't finished the first one, I play it every now and then for an hour, any more and it gets tedious (especially the combat).

You'll find it a much better experience than the first one, however the first one was great anyway...

Hopefully the spell system will change - I found that massively lacking.

I'd prefer a more 'Dungeon Master' feel to the spells.

Whether you are completely new to this genre of games, or a seasoned crawlerhead like me, this is a game you need to pick up and play! Sure, there are still some minor issues such as combat being a little too easy at times, but I am willing to overlook that and embrace the dungeon (and surface) crawling masterpiece that is Legend of Grimrock 2.
