Been playing Legend of Grimrock 1 and 2 again recently, very good old style (grid stuff) dungeon crawlers IMHO, completed them both ages ago of course, but only recently discovered the free modders custom dungeon content.
There is a good Dungeon Keeper mod now for Grimrock 1, completed it and I never did complete the original game on my Amiga, but it seems well ported and accurate to me.
What I'm playing just now is a community mod for Grimrock 1, Its called One Room Round Robin 2, lots of talented modders put forth their dungeon mods and they all tied it up together as one big concise Mod ... and its free, at least on Steam ver of game, its superb and in IMHO takes the game into another realm, even the game mechanics are improved with a little sidebar and a place to store your spells, recipes, scrolls, check your progress through 22 or 24? custom made dungeons by different talented modders ... its amazing what they have done tieing all those mods together in one concise package.
Apparently there is a One Room Round Robin mod for Grimrock 2 out as well (and again free) but want to complete this one first.
If you like the Legend of Grimrock games, please check this mod out, some of the best logic puzzles with balance combat I've ever seen in any game, awesome modders, they really are.
