Sean Bean

i thought i should start with that, so most people can close the thread :D

well 1st EP and he did not die :D

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2402137/

Follows a deep-cover operative named Martin Odum, who has an uncanny ability to transform himself into a different person for each job. But his own identity comes into question when a mysterious stranger suggests that Martin isn't who he thinks he is.

they let the police woman stripper go because she didn't know anything?

yet she would have been able to identify sean bean from when he told the guy about his made up cancer treatments

something makes me think if it were real they would have killed her anyway, seems unrealistic that he let her go.

seems okay though I'll give it some more eps

I thought it was very good, I like Sean Bean in this as well, Interesting storyline, Will be following this and just hope it stays good.

Thought it was another tired, unoriginal and lazy effort. Not really sure of the logic behind commissioning such a show and struggle to believe anyone involved could feel any excitement or passion for it. Sean Bean was rather weird in it too. His English accent was all over the place and i'm not sure a 'Legend' should appear so..well average and unimpressive.

I think you're misunderstanding the use of the term 'Legend' here.

No no. I understand the term, in the context of the show. I still maintain it was a struggle to believe this character excelled at anything, including undercover immersion, to such an extent.

it was supposed to be?

I don't mean when it reverted to his American undercover persona. When talking to others as himself it was strong Sheffield to very posh a lot. If that was intended I did miss something.

Has anyone else been keeping up with this?

I'm still not sure if I like it or not yet . I guess watching 5 episodes is a sign I do though :D.

I was just coming to say something similar.

I'm watching the latest episode just now and it struck me that i don't really care about each new episode as in i wouldn't seek them out to watch them. They're just auto there in my folder each week so i do.

I think i'm only still watching as i want to know why his supposed real self as Martin is fake. The individual episode stories aren't really interesting me.

Pretty much summed up my feelings there. Who he really is is the most interesting bit of the show.

Admittedly the latest episode where he's got a damn site closer to it was good. Wth happened in Iraq .

The concept of "legends" is awesome though.

Just finished it and yeah that one was much better. Ideally the first few episodes were just introduction and it'll continue the main theme more now.

Edit - i meant to mention; i'm always happy when Charlie from Fringe shows up in something :)

I think this is brilliant. Anyone complaining about his accent(s) is clearly not getting the show.

Well;

I'm rather unimpressed with the ending of the latest episode. Literally 2 minutes before the guy got snipped he mentioned them dispatching snipers....

Ali Larter really wasn't a good choice for her role, she just doesn't play a convincing CIA agent at all. Even Sean Bean's performance is rather average.
