My daughter has got a fair bit of Lego, I've got that Technics Charger, and my wife got an architectural London skyline set for Chrimbo. So wondering whether it would look good having a cabinet for it all.
Thinking along the lines of the Ikea Detolf (link removed because I couldn't stop it turning it into massive pictures!)

But would be interested in views and advice. I'm wondering about some sort of lighting system too - but if it's manual I can't see anyone ever bothering to turn it on, and if it's automatic I'm not sure how to achieve that and what 'rules' I'd want to set.

Actually - if I replaced the light switch in the room with a smart one, and had the unit plugged into a smart plug too, would I be able to set a rule where it comes on whenever the room light is switched on? That might look good.

I’ve got quite a bit of mine sat on an Ikea Billy bookcase.

I might get round to adding LED strips at some point for lighting.
