Lego gun instructions

Hello people, my son is 8 years old and he likes Lego a lot, he is also interested in guns so yesterday I thought why not look at Lego guns and I was amazed at the amount of Lego guns there are.

So now naturally he has been bugging me every 5 minutes asking me to build one with him.

Does anyone know a site that has instructions to build one?
 
You don't follow instructions good god man it's lego make your own guns with imagination and coke (cola :p). :D

Maybe adding some elastic bands to the mix as some kind of firing mechanism?
 
You know there was a time when we didn't have the internet and had to make up our own guns with lego.

Surely that's half the point?!
 
I'm sure I've seen instructions for making a "functional" Beretta 92F.

Try here: http://www.brickgun.com/ They sell a CD with instructions for multiple guns. I'm guessing you'll need a shedload of black bricks, and probably some fairly esoteric parts.

Those are the exact videos we watched yesterday, incredible detailed.

Whil e it isn't impossible for me to make a gun or follow a video it is quite hard to do with a fulltime job and very little free time.

I think I will try this one first:
At least it will give me some ideas on how the gun works in case I don't have all the parts and need to be creative.
