Lego Star wars, originial trilogy

My bro had this on his shelf and I thought I woud nick it and play it.
Thing is the games controls seem relly messed up for me.
It automaticlaly puts in 2plays co-op, if then try and turn it by pressing all the buttons its tells me to untill something happens.
It then decides to totally flip around the controls, so instead of WASD movbing leah it moves the captain guy, and other controls like hire/attack have changed between player1/player 2 position.

Am I just being a spaz? How should it be? I thought this game would be easy to play but it doesnt seem that intuitive.

If its anything like the Wii version, then you will always have 2 playable characters on screen and you can swap between these as and when is required.

It'll always show the "Press xx to join" message in the top-right hand corner.

Just ignore it, and don't press whatever button it's asking, and your usual WASD will work fine.

One of the buttons will allow you to switch control between the 2 characters on screen - in many situations you need to control both characters to complete certain tasks.

All the LEGO games are really good fun!

Have just got an xbox windows controller thingy and wanted to play this game for a while; do they work well together?

The XBox 360 controllers are absolutely perfect for playing the LEGO games - in fact I use 2 of the wireless ones and play with my partner and her son.

things sorted itself out.
apart from the hoth battle and flying ones annoy me, the controls and camera angles just dont suit it.
