Surprised there is no thread on this already given the love of LEGO on here!

Explore lands to unlock new pieces to build with and collect LEGO studs to purchase new items.

Currently only single player, but multi-player is in the pipeline.

You can also use the LEGO instructions here http://service.lego.com/en-gb/buildinginstructions to re-create them in-game!

Available on Steam for £11.99 as an Early-Access title.

My son and I both love Lego, we play with the LDD a lot making sets via that.

This could be fun, will have a look later. If they have the complete brick database and endless options that could be very time sinky.

Came in from work to here the age old line of-

'Dad, I want a new game...'

****ing youtube!:p

Anyone know if that's the going to be all it costs or is there going to be endless in game transactions?

Not according to this http://steamcommunity.com/app/332310/discussions/0/615085406675832629/

Will there be Micro-Transactions in LEGO Worlds?
There will be no Micro-Transaction in LEGO Worlds. We will also not even begin to consider offering any additional paid content until we have satisfied our community during Early Access.

They are also considering Mod support, but as it's still Early Access, want to get the game off the ground on a good footing by the sounds of it.

Got excited by the trailer and then realised it was not multiplayer :/

Tis a shame, i hope it gets multiplayer worlds fast so taht i can enjoy it with some friends, will hold off until then.

I'm shocked they didn't do this sort of thing 10-15 years ago to be honest.

They did: Lego Creator, and to a point the Lego Universe editor, just neither of them was as good as they should have been and neither rivaled Minecraft.

I bought it as I love Lego, and it is very good even at this stage. It looks like you can search for worlds within the game and each world has a 'geographic location' which looks very much like either a search ID or a seed thingy. Hopefully multiplayer isn't far off...

I've bought it for myself but I think as soon as my son sees me playing it he'll want a copy too. The price may rise in the future so I'll probably get him one too in the hope we can play together in some sort of co-op or multiplayer :)
