Leica Lexus II

Came across an article on the Daily Express Website earlier today.

Bonhams have a Leica Lexus II up for auction. One of only four made number 88840, (the other three being 94573, 97313 and 98248), is estimated at between £490,00 and £730,000!

They think it might go for over £1,000,000.

The best bit - they don't know where the other three are.

I 'collect' old cameras just as nice ornaments. Imagine if you found one of these in a charity or antique shop for £20.

Sadly the days of those sort of bargains are slowly dieing as it's just to easy to type the details into google and find out what they've got. this has led to some ridiculous price hikes in charity shops I've turned my nose up at places wanting 30 quid for an OM10 and 50mm!
