I am thinking about building my first PC and currently in the process of saving for it, originally had a budget of £400-£500 but decided save for longer and now its closer to £600. this is the current system i have planned out, just wondering if you could take a look, say any faults/issues etc and maybe reccomend parts that would be cheaper and do the same/similar job as current parts.

Money is an issue here so the closer to £500 the better.

Any help would be much appreciated

Edit: i will be using a 32" LG LCD T.V. for a monitor full 1080P. And it will be for mainly gaming on new fps's

I am, 90% sure i will be throwing Windows 7 ultimate, think that is what it is called.

I think its a good spec, the only thing i would change on that is the GPU to a GTX 470 but that would increase the cost.

The 460 is a very good card and should out run the 5770, i would like other people to comment on it before buying though as i might be wrong.

would the fact the 5770 is 1024 and the GTX 460 is 768?

just did soem benchmarks here http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.php and the 460 is on top, but im not sure if it takes into account the fact, there are 1024 460's, although as you said, the 460 was well on top

At 1080p you would want the 1gb version.

thanks for the help the the GPU, was wondering if swapping the corsair ram for OCZ would do the same job and shave a bit off the price?
