According to BBCi, Lennox is going to announce his retirement tomorrow, and I for one, will be extremely pleased if this is the case, he has absolutely nothing to gain and everything to lose from fighting on, especially after his display against Klitschko.

You've done us proud (he's not Canadian;) ) and given me some of the best moments of my life, you'll be missed.

yeah he is great, i wish that he had one more fight with tyson tho, just to have more braggin rites. :D

After dismantling Tyson for 8 rounds, including toying with him for the last 4, what can beating him again prove?

I'll be sorry to see him go anyway, he's a fantastic fighter, and I just think it's a shame that he didn't have a heavyweight division with a huge range of top fighters like we saw in the 70's and 80's. Still, in me eyes at least he's proven himself to be one of the best of all-time, and he's given us all some great moments to look back on.

Timed it just right. Bow out at the top. A brilliant sportsman and a great person in the eyes of UK sport. Just got to try and make Audleys fights more entertaining now. :D ;)

Sky are in trouble , lets look at their PPV fighters

Maybe its time for Old Rotty to put some gloves on and become Sky's new money making machine :D

What's the next weight up from heavyweight ?

Do they have an "old fat git" weight ?

They have Hatton.

I think they are trying to build Hatton and Calzaghe up as PPV fighters , traditionally they have only used heavyweights other than naseem ( personality  paid a large part there ) , not sure the general public are ready to pay to see Hatton and Calzaghe yet , maybe if either take on one of the big names though

I'm more in the Butterbean class myself, "Let's Get It On".:)

Hatton and Calzaghe have PPV potential, but as the "fat old git" says, they really need quality opposition.

Anyone see Clinton Woods last night, he should give up, he's useless, at least the Carl Thompson fight was entertaining.

Erm? They have the rights to Showtime mate, so they can show all the fights showtime promote, but british based fighters there are few big names but its not like the BBC have big names either. Either way its good to see the BBC showing more boxing.

I saw Carl 39yrs Tompson still going at it last night, didnt see the other fights tho. Amazing finish by Carl was suprised he was still in there fighting for a Championship despite the fact that it is only IBO.
