Hi, Hello, New here and wanting some advice please
I want to buy a HTPC, I want it to play DVD rips in full HD, I want to be able to stream BBC iplayer in HD.
I was thinking about either of these 2, Lenovo IdeaCentre Q180 Nettop or Acer Aspire Revo RL70. (they are closely matched in price not to make any difference to my decision)
I have read the thread by Aikon359 regarding the RL70 http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18375202 but I am thinking the Q180 should be a stronger contender.
I know that sometimes higher GHZ don't always mean better and that it is more to do with the whole bundle.
So I would like your views on the above machines, and if you are using them, to hear about your personal experience would be great.
I don't need this for office, video editing or Games, just a HD player and some web browsing (I don't want a WD TV Live streaming system or anything like that)
I have read many of the threads here and know there are some very knowledgeable people here and it would be great to here what they think of the different spec of the 2 machines.
Many thanks
Graham
