Lenovo Ideapad 5

I ordered this laptop whilst it was hot on HUKD (The £514 one with 1035G1, 16GBDDR4 & MX350) and I've been really impressed with it.

Reading the posts on this thread I've enabled the maximum performance and disabled the flip to boot in BIOS.

Laptop is outstanding value for money, being picky my touchpad is slightly sunken at the bottom left but I use an external mouse with it so no big deal.

I'm now lookin to order another one for the girlfriends dad. He will probably be using it for mainly taking to audits, Video calls, general emails and spreeadsheet crunching on the move. Still a recommended laptop just now? I was looking at the 4500U version for him whereas the girlfriend has the 4300U version with extra RAM.
He was away to pull the trigger an a Huawei Mate D 14" with Intel i5-10210U.

there is a 4700u with 8gb on lenovo site, no custom options or cheap https://www.lenovo.com/gb/en/laptops/yoga/yoga-slim-series/yoga-slim-7-14are05/p/82A20015UK. that is the best expected from AMD and Lenovo at present. If they do show any more AMD Ryzen 7 expect a delay of 5-6 weeks from order to delivery
