Thinking of getting a Lenovo laptop got two models in mind

Lenovo 3000 N200 0769 - Core 2 Duo T5450 / 1.66 GHz - Centrino Duo - RAM 1 GB - HDD 160 GB - DVD-Writer - GF Go 7300 TurboCache - WLAN : Bluetooth, 802.11a/b/g - fingerprint reader - Vista Home Premium - 15.4" Widescreen TFT 1280 x 800 ( WXGA ) VibrantView

And this one

Lenovo 3000 N200 0769 - Core 2 Duo T8100 / 2.1 GHz - Centrino Duo - RAM 1 GB - HDD 160 GB - DVD-Writer - GF Go 7300 - WLAN : Bluetooth, 802.11 a/b/g/n (draft) - TPM - fingerprint reader - Vista Home Premium - 15.4" Widescreen TFT 1680 x 1050 ( WSXGA+ )

Which 0ne would you go for there’s £100 difference between them also you get 1GB of extra ram free,is it worth £100 more just for T8100/2.1GHz

Second one is significantly better; no turbocache ram eating graphics, N draft wireless, higher resolution (usually expensie), and a better proc.

Second one is much more recent. Worth the extra for the screen alone. Will likely have a newer motherboard chipset and wireless card too.
