Lenovo legion 5 for editing video

You can edit videos on a Raspberry Pi if you have all week to wait. Short answer would be yes, long answer depends on the specification. As much RAM as you can afford would also help
 
Thank you ,yes i have tried to edit vids on an old thinkpad i have and it is a ball ache.On my home pc its a breeze i just need a laptop that will do it when im at work .Would you recommend anything else ?
 
You’re gonna have to give people here more to go on.

Let’s start with what programs you’re using to edit video? What resolution etc?
 
I haven't done exhaustive research, but the small number of articles I've read suggest that a Ryzen 7 will do a better job of video than the broadly equivalent Intel (the flipside being that the Intel will perform better for gaming, apparently).

What are you using? I've been using Corel VideoStudio 2018 and it's not even fantastic on this machine (an Overclockers Germanium machine I bought back in 2018 which pretty much monsters everything else, eg. CODMW and BLOPS Cold War at 4K maxed out)
