Lenovo Legion 5 Pro

Says in the article and on the spec sheet the article links to that it has a 3070, not a 3080. I very much doubt it would be priced anywhere near £1500 if it did indeed come with a 3080.

"confirms that the Legion 5 Pro will pack 8GB of RTX 3070 graphics."

In a quandary. Go for the ASUS rog strix 5800H laptop for £1700 or wait for this... not sure if this will have the higher TGP of 115w-130w either or the gimped 80w... I need a new laptop asap, the article above says ready to order in match, doesn’t actually say release...

Available to buy now, check hukd.
£1500. However some can use student portal to knock it down to £1350 and then use code UNIDAYS50 for another £50 so £1300.

Is there anything else with this spec, particularly the 1440p screen? Really need that, but struggling to find anything else at this price point given so many laptops are 1080p. Shame the 5 Pro isn't available yet.

Thinking I might just opt for Macbook Air M1 at the £1500 price point. I don't really NEED gaming as it's mostly work use, but I can't be dealing with a 1080p screen on most options at this price.

This is it really: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus...z-ryzen-r7-5800h-gaming-laptop-lt-2d3-as.html

Personally I'm going to try and be patient and wait for the 5 Pro to come back and hope I manage to snag it...
