I have a Lenovo P340, it has core i9 (10th gen chip).
Its in a small housing and the PSU broke, Ive tried to get a replacement but the PSUs are made specifically for Lenovo board and cost a fortune!

I am also not sure if its a motherboard issue.

So I think it would be best to swap out motherboard & get a new PSU

the motherboard is:
I4XOMS_P v1
the current PSU is
500W TOWER SERVER PSU HK600-11PP
19 x 15 x 8.5cm

I am ideally looking for a cheap replacement like a gigabyte board & a PSU that might fit into the P340 small case (or I buy another case)

I am not sure if this is possible? but any advice appriciated

10th Generation Intel® Desktop Processors and 11th Generation Intel® Desktop Processors use the LGA1200 socket and require motherboards based on Intel® 400 Series Desktop Chipset or Intel® 500 Series Desktop Chipsets

New case, psu , and mobo somethining matx in size , how much memory and sticks do you have?

you may also need a new CPU cooler if Lenovo us non standard.

H410, B460, H510 and B560 are the cheaper range

Which CPU is it ?
core i9 (10th gen chip), it only has 16gb of Ram.
I use this as a render PC... so doesnt need much ram...
the CPU cooler looks specially made to fit MOBO/ case... so thought that might be a issue

Would it be easier to just go to a standard case (I have a old PC with a i7 that I dont use now) and buy a new MOBO for that?
or
is can anyone recommend a good:
simple CASE/Cooling + MOBO+heat sink + PSU for a i9 10th gen?

Great thanks, Ill probabaly need a new cooler also...
I have a coolmaster sealed water one in my other PC... do you think a standard heat sink is just as good?... it is a render PC so does use the CPU heavy
Also if you have any recomendations!

Is the cooler master single or dual radiator both should be ok but dual is obviously better, check if you need a lga1200 adapter .

If you want a decent air cooler the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE is the performance/ value king. This will handle any 10th gen CPU

PSU just get a 500w s that what you had in your pc just to cover all bases but if you have an old pc does that not have a PSU in it ?

Please use the reply button.
the cooler master is in my PC I use day to day, but not to sure if it works as good as a good air cooler.... so the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE looks better option thanks...
The PSU should be fine so Ill order the other bits today.

Thanks for help! havent built a PC in about a decade so hard to keep up!
