That isn't bad when you consider what you are getting and size of the notebook. Same price as a tablet. looking at these now, starting at 366£ is mint vfm

looking at the reviews, I can't see any competitors to this with the only limitation being screen size, still with this power, you can just dock and go. so tempted right now, especially as topcashback are offering £2.02 on any lenovo through the site. tight wads.

Wow 2 quid off! I think it looks nice, this guy opening his on the youtube

I ordered the x121e, same spec as Snotuk but with 4gig of RAM, total + del was just under £430.

I was unsure going for the 6 cell battery since its heavier than the 3 cell and doesn't fit flush, but the extra battery life is a requirement for me.

Snotuk, keep us updated on delivery?, be interesting to see who gets it first..

I was about to order one of these but saw the HD3000 only gets about 2800-3200 points in 3D mark 06 due to the i3m processor.

still better than the competition if you want an ultra portable esp for the money

googled the "i3-2357M processor and HD3000 benchmark" and it came up with links to several systems but not the lenovo. effectively same spec though, cant find links now as at work,

google should show it

I am eager to hear defoerate and Snotuk experiences of the X121E. I am still using my 3 year old samsung NC-10 , which I upgraded to 2gb membory, intel 5300 n card , crucial c300 256GB SSD.
At last there is something with a matte screen, decent key board , and bit more ooph than a netbook but still a decent battery life.

I will be interest to here if the fan is any way noisy , and what the true battery life is like with the six cell system. I think it may be time to upgrade at last.

Well, 8gb of ram is enough to run an entire OS from if the urge takes him. That almost makes more sense than the SSD.

Does anyone follow the difference between this and the 11" edge? The edge costs more, but I can't work out where the difference lies beyond that

I read its not straightforward to add RAM to it, some 15 odd screws and you need to slide the keyboard out.

Just glanced at the hardware manual from the Lenovo site and it looks easy enough: remove 3 screws and then a bottom panel exposing the RAM, HDD and wireless card lifts off.

I'm thinking about replacing my old 2.1Ghz Turion/HD3200 tablet with the Fusion version of this, it looks great.
