Hi guys,

Recently bought a second hand Canon 1000D. It came with the standard 18-55 lens and I also got a Sigma 70-300. Now im finding I could possible do with a lens in between the two? What lens would you guys recommend for a reasonable budget?

Thanks

Why do you need a lens in between the 2? Do you really think you are missing any opportunities between 55mm and 70mm. I doubt it.

Or do you mean you want a lens with a bit more reach than the 18-55 but without having to use your 70-300? In which case something like the Canon 15-85mm might be what you want.

Yes sorry, meant I need something with a bit more reach but finding the 70-300 an overkill. Ill have a look at the above suggestions.

Thanks

personally I love my 18-200mm IS Canon lens! Good focal range for what I need most of the time. I rarely find I want more on it or less.

I do also have an 18-55mm that came with my Canon 400D, but I dont really have a use for that, unless I take my fisheye adapter out with me, which then screws into the front of the 18-55.
