Lens cleaner

Hi all,

I am on the look out for a portable lens cleaner which can be kept in my small bag. I have seen a liquid based one with cloth and also in JL I have also seen this pen rub type thing.

What does everyone carry with them and is it any good?

you can get zeiss pre wetted tissues/cloths, and then just have a couple in bag.

and a microfibre cloth, the sigma ones are huge, i cut them up into smaller parts

lenspen are good, i find them very convient as well as working well.

I have a lenspen and imo a microfibre cloth does a better job.

A bit of spit and my shirt tail normally does the trick

I use the micro cloths as well and even have the keyring ones as well !

The inside of my t-shirt works pretty well in the field.

However, for home I use boots spec's cleaner (blue spray bottle) and not-too-crap kitchen towels (the one that are not made of sandpaper). I tried a million other things, as I repair/service some lens, and never found anything better. There's nothing more annoying than discovering a trace on a lens element 3 levels down :-)

Lenspen + blower + one of my many glasses cleaning cloths works well for me.
