Lens cleaning.

Are these ok to use on a Nikon kit lens. They are for glasses really but the packaging claims the cloth is fine for any coated lenses and multi-coated lens. The cleaner just says it contains no solvents or alcohol but is no good for contact lenses. Any advice welcome, my local photo place are out of stock of lens cleaning kits so I had to look for an alternative.

Micro fibre is fine but if I were to use fluids I would use eclipse.

Thanks Raymond, I will use the cloth for now as it's only a bit of dust and look into getting the cleaner.

I use Specsavers Lens Bright on my lenses all the time. Cover nozzle with a cotton bud, spray and wipe lens, then switch to dry end of bud to dry it up.

I have the same cloth and it's useless. It's not absorbent enough, it just wipes grease around but doesn't lift it.
