Lens repair

Hi all,

My Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 has broken. The zoom ring is just spinning, and the only way to zoom is by pulling the lens out.

Does anyone know how much it would cost to repair? I bought the lens second hand for £150, so I'm thinking of just buying another one..

You can send it to Fixation to take a look and for a quote?

Yeah I've dropped them an email actually. From first glance it looked like they only serviced Canon and Nikon equipment?

Just call them and find out.

Not sure who Tamron's reputable repairs are I am afraid if Fixation don't do them.

Probably easier/cheaper to replace it and sell the old one as spares/repair.
