How important do you find this?
The reason I ask is that Im about to go for a Sigma 8-16mm F4.5-5.6 DC HSM.
Im looking at one of 3 sellers, *******, SLRhut or OneStopDigital
I think with all of them, Id have to return it to the seller who would deal with the manufacturer, as they are all coming from HK, but Im thinking what is the chance of a lens failing after a year? Also, how good are the warranties when you buy from foreign sellers?
Im afraid I have chronic LBA for this lens, I just have to have it, so it is a bit of a moot question as I don't think I can resist buying it
