Anybody use add-on lenses for your smartphone, I just picked up some really cheap ones, a fish eye, macro and wide lens. I'm not expecting much and haven't tried them yet but you never know. I know next to nothing about photography.

I assume you can get more expensive lenses than these cheap ones. Any tips?

I thought about doing this but ended up thinking it'll be a waste of money so purchased an actual camera instead.

A smart phone is enough to learn composition techniques but if you wanted to know about ISO, Aperture and Shutter speeds and how they interact and impact your photo you'd be better suited to a camera with manual controls.

Yeh I did think you may as well get a proper camera. But maybe it still works out better getting these lenses as way cheaper.

How about something like this?

It's just letting in more light?
