Just watched the uncut version and i couldn't believe it's taken me this long to sit down, watch it and appreciate everything which was happening.
I don't think i've ever seen an action film which has had such emphasis on character development since watching the entire Evangelion series.
Anyone else enjoyed watching this film perhaps to the extent i have?

Great film!

Jean Reno is one of my favourite actors; he just emenates cool wherever you see him.

What's different in the uncut version?

It's actually quite a bit different to the standard version, in the standard version, Leon and Matilda are depicted as being like Father and Daughter however in the uncut version, Matilda makes many romantic moves on him (which he declines).

There's also a Russian roulette scene.

yeah i thought it was rubbish and vastly overrated. its about a hitman but there is very little anything to do with him being a hitman in it. all there is is a stupid girl, a glass of milk and a plant.

The film isn't about being a hitman, the film is about a hitman, you, the viewer are suprised that someone so merciless who lives a life of routine (the whole cleaning the plant, drinking milk, sleeping is his routine) can take a helpless little girl into his grasp which completely altars his style of life.

Atleast, that's how I understood some of the film
