Well done Miss Lewis. At last someone with actual talent getting their reward.

It'll be interesting to hear her first album. She's far from being the finished article but i think she'll be huge.

Got mixed feelings about this. I'm chuffed for the girl, she seems genuinely really nice and down to earth, and there's no doubting she's got a set of lungs on her, but do we really need another power ballad singer?

It's a shame really because she's gifted, but there's nothing new about what she'll be doing so it'll just be more of the same Mariah Carey, 30 key changes every 10 seconds type stuff.

Give her a chance. Let her bring out a few cliched ballad albums to please the execs, then form a judgement after she is actually allowed some meaningful creative freedom. We really know nothing about what she is capable of composition wise.

Bear in mind that £5m for a record deal is a nebulous idea. It probably represents a promise to earn that much, which would depend on MANY things.

I wouldn't really compare Leona to Kylie Minogue. One can sing and the other cannot.

I think we all might be surprised when her first album comes out. I very much doubt it'll have any covers on it. Her voice is also adaptable and i doubt she's just another 'power ballad singer'.

Lets not forget that she's far from the finished article. She has a lot of improvement to come.

She was the only reason why I was watching X Factor - never really been that bothered about the programme before.

Think she is a great singer but she needs to work on being a bit more positive about herself :/

Her version of Over The Rainbow was a little bit special. The emotion that emits from her mouth is amazing.
