Hi all,
I just received my order today of a Dimastech V3 bench table, and all is not well. Things were ok until I tried fitting the thumb screws in the retention plate and found they did not fit at all well - 3 snapped off while attempting to gently work them.
I was not a happy bunny - took me an hour of work to get the broken bits out of the screw holes, and then cut new threads with some steel screws I had. The thumbscrews are practically made of plasticine it would seem, and break way to easily. This would not of happened of course if the threads had been machined correctly in the first place.
Seems to me that quality control is rather lacking at Dimastech - that will teach me not to trust Italian goods(except Ferrari of course) Lol.
Anybody else had trouble with Dimastech gear?
Have posted to customer service as well.
