I bought a 50 yesterday, but whilst in WeX tried out the Canon 50 1.2 and 1.4 and the Sigma 50 1.4
These are by no means the greatest of comparison shots, and do not necessarily give the lenses the best opportunity to shine. Obviously each shot had different lighting opportunities, and I took a number of other shots with each to decide. But the following three shots were taken with each lens wide open, as portraits, so are an interesting place to start.

No PP whatsoever apart from resizing and exif stripping
